In light of full transparency, FOR GUESTS INTERESTED IN STAYING IN SEPTEMBER AND/OR OCTOBER 2024, we'd like to inform you of an upcoming maintenance project that will likely impact the availability of the Windsor Hills community pool. In September 2024, the community pool will be closing temporarily for resurfacing. We understand that this may cause inconvenience, but please know that this maintenance is necessary to ensure the safety and functionality of the Windsor Hills community amenities. While the splash pool at The Sunny Star Wars home, the community waterslides and splash pad will remain open and available for use, we recognize the importance of the community pool as a gathering place and wanted to make all guests of the Sunny Star Wars home aware of this update as SOON as possible. Kissimmee sits to the southwest of the greater Orlando center with Windsor Hills being the nearest vacation rental resort community to the main Walt Disney World entrance gates (around 2 miles and 10 minutes by car). Other major theme park attractions are equally accessible including Universal Orlando, also known as Universal Studios, (15 miles and 18 minutes by car on the main I4 interstate) and Sea World (12 miles and 20 minutes by car again north east along the I4).

Self check-in upon arrival via the state-of-the-art smart lock. Access code for the front door will be provided prior to check-in. TRANSPORTATION TO THE PARKS FROM WINDSOR HILLS Windsor Hills is less than 2 miles to Walt Disney World and less than a mile away from many shopping and dining options. While car rentals are the best option to navigate the area, Uber and Lyft are readily accessible options and are very reasonably priced for those who choose not to drive. UBER/LYFT Most guests now prefer the convenience of Uber or Lyft.
